Julbach enjoys a pleasant, almost Mediterranean climate, and is a great place to spend relaxing and restful holidays amid surroundings of great natural charm.
The town owes its existence to a mineral spring which was said to have great healing powers. A wooden chapel dedicated to St. Anna was built at the site of the miracle. Recently Julbach has made a name for itself as health resort which focuses on natural remedies.
Hochficht ski area is within easy reach of Julbach and great Nordic skiing is found only a few kilometers away (over 60km of groomed tracks).
A very popular winter sport in Julbach is curling, an outdoor activity that provides fun for the whole family!
