Leave the market square in a north-westerly direction, then immediately turn right onto Höhenstraße, which takes you uphill to 5 km Grünwald. As soon as you reach the level at the end of the forest, turn right and the road will take you to Oberhaag. Turn left downhill and pass the Austrian/Czech border. Approx. 1.5 km after the border, turn right at the large crossroads. Now your route runs almost flat along the Vltava reservoir to 21 km Frydava (Friedau). Follow the road further along the lake to the dam. Your tour continues straight ahead along the Vltava to 38 km Vyssi Brod (Hohenfurth). Stay on the main road, your route continues in the Vltava valley. After approx. 6 km, turn left and continue along the Vltava to 48 km Rozmberk nad Vltavou (Rosenberg). Stay on the main road and continue along the Vltava. The road takes you through smaller villages to 71 km Cesky Krumlov. Stay on the main road, keep left and then turn left onto main road no. 39. From here it goes uphill again. Through the villages of Kajov, Kladenske and Mokra you reach 93 km Cerna v Posumavi (Schwarzbach) and thus the Vltava reservoir again. Leave the town to the left. Via Blizna (Eggetschlag) you reach 98 km Dolni Vltavice (Untermoldau). Take the ferry across to Kyselov. Follow the road straight ahead and pass the Czech/Austrian border again. After a short steep climb, you reach 105 km Oberhaag. A steep descent takes you back to your starting point 109 km Aigen-Schlägl.
