Aigen-Schlägl – Haslach
19 km, walking distance approx. 4.5 h, approx. 420 m difference in altitude
You walk past the Schlägl monastery, through idyllic alleys and continue towards the czech border. The hiking trail leads alongside the scarp at the Schwarzenberg log flume. If you listen closely you can still hear the logs rush down the chute. Next to the trail, there is a landmark placed 1788 under emperor Joseph II. The path leads down the Große Mühl valley to Haslach, where you can visit one of the interesting museums.
Next leg Haslach – Rohrbach-Berg.
