Nordwaldkammweg partial trail from the Dreisesselberg to Guglwald through the Böhmerwald (Bohemian forest) holiday region!
The Nordwaldkammweg (Norwaldkamm trail) is part of the “Europäischer Fernwanderweg E 6” (E 6 European long-distance hiking trail) and leads from the Dreisesselberg in Bavaria (Bavarian, Austrian, Czech cross-border area) to the Nebelstein in Niederösterreich (Lower Austria). The trail will take you through the Nordic-like, thick, dark, and mossy forests such as the Böhmerwald and the Sternwald Sternwald but also through very charming regions with meadows and hamlets. Many stretches of the trail are located along the border of the Czech Republic. The highest elevations are the Dreisesselberg (1312 m), the Plöckelstein (1379 m), the Sternstein (1122 m), the Viehberg (1111 m), and the Nebelstein (1015 m).

The starting point of these trips is located in Germany. Ca. 45 km away from Schwarzenberg am Böhmerwald. There is public transportation until Schwarzenberg. Afterwards you have to continue by taxi.
