0 km The starting point of this beautiful hike is the centre of Schwarzenberg am Böhmerwald, car park at the Hotel-Restaurant Bergkristall. Following the signs "Jagaspitzweg", walk left downhill past the hotel. At the fork immediately after, keep left, where the path past the house turns into a field and meadow path.

2,9 km ... Zinngießerhof. The farm is named after a pewterer who appears in documents as early as 1720/21. Each of the three Schwarzenberg glassworks also had tin foundry workshops attached to it. Although the pewterers moved to the glassworks in Sonnenwald when the Schwarzenberg glassworks was closed in 1749, the short period of time during which the pewterers lived here left its mark on the house name.
