During a tour of the Webermarkt you will be guided to the most interesting places in Haslach and learn a lot of background information about the historical framework and the current life in the town.
The symbiosis of tradition and future accompanies you at every turn: Here the freestanding church tower, which once served as a fortified tower, opposite modern architecture and accents to revitalize the town center. Winding alleys on the "Stelzen", which fill up with thousands of people every year during the International Weavers' Market, immediately followed by the memorable building complex of the Vonwiller factory, which now serves as a modern art, culture and service center after the insolvency of the famous textile company. "Und stehst im Torwög mitten drinn, so kummt da allerhand in Sinn....", says the local poet Norbert Hanrieder. The "Torwög" is the "old tower" in the Windgasse, once part of the fortifications. The threats from outside have disappeared, since the fall of the Iron Curtain Haslach lies in a new geopolitical center, in the border triangle of Austria, Bavaria and the Czech Republic. All these facets are conveyed in an entertaining and exciting way during a tour through the times. Half an hour before the start of the tour, there is the possibility of a church tower tour.
