Alpaca lodge Bärenstein

Our alpaca lodge on the Bärenstein in Aigen-Schlägl was born out of a close bond with animals and nature.

Surrounded by the hilly landscape of the upper Mühlviertel, 6 alpacas have found a new home.

We offer individual alpaca walks in the upper Mühlviertel all year round in a relaxed, family atmosphere. Because alpacas are not only great to look at, but also fantastic companions.

You can park directly at our alpaca farm in Aigen-Schlägl free of charge during your stay. Alpaca hikes are also very popular company events which we are happy to organise for you. The proximity to well-known accommodation options also offers the opportunity to stay longer and explore the Bohemian Forest with its attractions such as the Bärenstein, the Vltava view or the treetop path. To name just a few of the many activities on offer.

Our visitors are also very welcome at any time "just" to get to know the alpacas (New World camelids) for the first time in an entertaining way.

We also offer a shearing service for alpaca owners, the sale of raw wool and alpaca gold (natural fertiliser).
