The Egerholzbründl (555m) is the spring catchment in a granite grander near the pilgrimage chapel in the Egerholz near the country road between Niederkraml and Exenschlag in the valley of the Kleine Mühl.
The chapel was built in 1649 as a plague chapel in honour of the Holy Trinity over a spring (Bründl) in the Egerholz. The water of the Bründl is said to have healing powers and is used for eye diseases. In 1867, a blind girl from Peilstein is said to have been cured by the Bründl water at the Egerholz chapel.Freely accessible.
