Historicist Parish Church in Aigen-Schlägl
The monumental, neo-Gothic building was erected between 1897 and 1901 according to the plans of the Linz architect Raimund Jebinger. The vicarage was mentioned in documents as early as 1657, but has only served as a vicarage since 1910. The original ground-level building was converted into a mighty, two-storey building with a mansard roof at the beginning of the 19th century. www.stift-schlaegl.atMostly open!
