The association "Museum Initiative Rohrbach" offers on the ground floor of the town hall a highly interesting representation of the city Rohrbach. A round table in the center of the room with an aerial view of Rohrbach provides information on the years and events relevant to Rohrbach's history on a screen. 9 panels with an overview of: the development of Rohrbach | the sights | Rohrbach as the center of the Upper Mühlviertel 4 Illustrations in text form in book form inform about: the local history | the mayors since the beginning and the honorary citizens | Education and Culture | Public Services 10 showcases are dedicated to the following matters: Former Leather Factory Poeschl | Rohrbacher beer | Former Rohrbacher E-Werk | Nazi time | Certificate on old craft order | Notgeld and items of the Rohrbacher night watchman | Partner city Bonanca in Nicaragua | Museum calendar and books about Rohrbach | Hops in Rohrbach and surroundings | Villa Sinnenreich A night watchman from "Anno dazumal" announces the curfew. Finally, the Stadtgeschichte presentation on request also offers a short film about the district city. This presentation of the town's history is accessible without admission during the opening hours of the Tourist Information Office.

From May 1st to October 31st every Wednesday at 5:00 pm guided tours are offered to all those interested without prior notice.
Groups of more than 10 people can also book a city tour at the Tourist Information Office by appointment at the time of booking.
A city tour begins in the city history room with a general overview of the district town of Rohrbach and a short film.
