In the Hochficht ski area, you can expect a perfect infrastructure that is especially tailored to families. 20 kilometres of varied and avalanche-safe pistes await skiers and boarders. Experts and advanced skiers will find their challenge on the FIS race courses in Austria's largest ski area outside the Alps. Families and beginners have optimal conditions on the family slopes and difficult sections of the piste can be easily bypassed. Piste acrobats can have fun in the fun park with rails and kickers or on the now even more attractive fun slope with banked turns, jumps and a tunnel to ride through or over. The wave runs with different levels of difficulty are spread throughout the ski area and offer fun and variety for the whole family. Friendly staff, cosy huts with regional delicacies to round off a day's skiing on the Hochficht.

On a high plateau at 1000 m above sea level lies the Nordic Centre Böhmerwald with the access points Schöneben, Grünwald and Oberhaag. Here you will find the most beautiful forest trails in the region. Almost 80 km of cross-country trails are available here, with a further 90 kilometres of trails in the other regional towns promising freedom on white tracks! Whether snowshoeing, tobogganing, curling, winter hiking or horse-drawn sleigh rides - you will also find a wide range of leisure activities away from the pistes and cross-country ski trails.
