In the Stiftskeller, the region, season and nature decide what's on the table. The quality of the meat is guaranteed by a local master butcher, the game comes from our own hunt and the bread comes from the neighbouring bakeries. As an ideal accompaniment to the food, we recommend the most valuable beer in Austria, which has been brewed just a few metres from the Stiftskeller since 1580 and is actually used in the cooking pot.
Whether in the taproom, in one of the three rustic barrel rooms, in the Herrenstüberl, in the Martin-Greysing-Saal or in the guest garden in fine weather - you are guaranteed to find your favourite spot! The Stiftskeller is a great place to eat, drink, celebrate and enjoy. Our team will be happy to spoil you with traditional delicacies and culinary specialities. We also serve you freshly tapped Schlägl beer and exquisite wines - a treat for body and soul!
