There are a lot of possibilities for accomodation for you and your horse which make it possible to travel Upper Austria and Bavaria on horseback. There are lots of scenic attractions and cultural specialties, inns with various delicacies as well as farm holiday through the Innviertel up to the Danube, and in Mühlviertel along the Bavarian border. The bridle path map Danube-Bohemian Forrest is available in tourist offices in the region.
