Hochstein in Bavaria - 500 m from the Dreisesselberg. The Hochstein near Haidmühle is the highest point of the Dreisesselberg. Thanks to its striking summit structure of shapely granite blocks and the nearby Dreisessel Rock, it is known far beyond the borders of the Bavarian Forest. With its 1333 metres, it is not quite as high as the Großer Arber, but on nice days the view extends far over the Mühlviertel, over the Bohemian Forest and across the Bavarian Forest.
