Since January 2022, the more than 100-year family tradition of the Sammer family, which once included a butcher shop, restaurant, and hotel, has come to an end. The neighboring day café, the patisserie Schröckmayr, which also runs the traditional café Kastner in Bad Leonfelden, has taken over with new concepts and ideas.

Additionally, you can expect a wide selection of pastries, as well as our homemade ice cream beyond the summer season.

In nice weather, daytime café visitors can enjoy the hotel terrace with an incomparable panoramic view of the reservoir and the unspoiled romantic nature of the Mühlviertel. It offers moments of relaxation that are hard to find elsewhere. In bad weather, everyone can let their soul dangle in the day café, which is inspired by baroque style, while the main entrance area impresses with original Gothic-inspired arches from the Renaissance period.
