Weaving mill museum

The traditional Haslacher Weaving Museum presents itself in the textile center in a new form.

It shows the processing steps of the flax dressing to the finished canvas and the development of handlooms up to the Jacquard machine.

The weaving museum was founded in 1971 and 2012 in the Textile Centre Haslach übersiedelt.Textile materials and techniques can be seen in our house in the truest sense of the word TERMS and with all your senses. The visitor / inside are invited to examine their own clothes and get insight into all processing steps of flax dressing, as well as in the development of handlooms up to the Jacquard machine. In addition, you can immerse yourself in the world of patterns and develop itself which, learn about modern materials and deal with economic contexts.

The equipment of the museum will be presented during a guided tour. If interested, there is also the opportunity to visit the art machinery at the production level of the textile center Haslach.
