General route Bohemian Forest: Schlägl weir upstream to the bridge at the "Bruckhäusel". Length: 2.6 km; width: 10 to 25 m Easy to fish - mostly on both sides.
Required certificate: Upper Austrian fishing licence
Fishing times: May 1 to September 15
Daily two trouts may be taken (brown and rainbow trouts). After this you have to stop fishing! The closed season for greylings is yearlong.
You may only use a rod with wobbler. It is generally forbidden to sit on watch or lay out bait.

An annual fishing permit for € 25 is also required. This is valid for one year throughout Upper Austria and can be requested online. Otherwise, you can purchase a guest license for € 15 at the Aigen-Schlägl tourist office.
