Exhibits developed by artists open up new approaches to human sensory phenomena. Many of these objects create illusions of perception. In the "Walk-in Kaleidoscope" you can experience a light installation with endless reflections. In "Barragan's House", visitors seem to be transformed from giants to dwarves. Strange experiences of balance can be had in the "Drunken Cube". Fixed images appear to rotate, while a rotating disc seems to stand still. Mr Ohrlovsky's ears unexpectedly emit his own heartbeat. Electronic music moulds itself into sound images. Visitors are enthralled by the plastic imprint of their own body. In the "Feeling Ship" you can relax without external sensory impressions. The action-orientated objects inspire young and old. As an active museum, the VILLA sinnenreich invites you to touch and try things out. Take a family-friendly, educational and barrier-free journey of discovery into the fascinating "realm of the senses". A 6 km circular trail through the beautiful landscape of the Mühlviertel begins in the neighbouring park with a children's playground and features 29 stations on the theme of "Perception with all senses".
Some of these are located in the park of the villa, e.g. the symbol of the Venus flower laid out with stepping stones, a balancing disc, dendrophones and much more.
