Helfenberg-Ahorn

The old textile village of Helfenberg, deep down in the romantic valley of the Steinerne Mühl, has now developed into the Upper Austrian Tarock centre and offers those seeking relaxation a particularly favourable climate thanks to its sheltered location on the southern slope of the Sternwald forest; The numerous Themed hiking trails around Helfenberg lead in spicy air through beautiful forests and along the Steinerne Mühl.

A pure treat for the palate is the guided tour through the Speckwerkstatt Haudum, where you can also purchase the well-known "Böhmerwald-Brettljause" to take home.

Theatre highlights are presented annually in the summer months in the Kulturfabrik.
