The approximately 650 exhibits present the diverse bird life in its various areas of life such as pond, field meadow, forest and house yard garden. Individually retrievable bird sounds give the exhibits a unique liveliness. Also shown are a wide variety of nesting boxes, plucking and moulting feathers, vaults, skull and beak shapes, as well as eggs (sizes and colors with many dimensions) and nests in various designs.

Rounding out the show with information about bird catching and bird ringing with maps of recoveries and feedback from many countries in Europe and Africa.
