Patron saint of the church, the Assumption of Mary Klaffer had its own chapel since 1890. The ground-breaking ceremony for the first parish church took place in 1949 and it was consecrated in 1955. With the consecration of the organ in 1969, the interior of the church was essentially completed. In 1980, the church was renovated inside and out. Worth seeing in the parish church are the mosaic cloister, the Marian niche and the renovated lower church.
