Experience peace and strength in the hotel at Schlägl Abbey!
Our 40-bed hotel offers you a place to slow down and reflect. The picturesque landscape of the Mühlviertel and the special atmosphere of the monastery invite you to linger. Our seminar rooms are ideal for seminars, conferences, retreats and workshops. After your work is done, you can relax in our comfortable beds and, if you wish, experience monastic life.
The Schlägl Abbey Seminar Centre offers courses on spirituality, body & soul, sport & movement, personality & creativity as well as concerts. Our rooms tell of the fascinating history of the monastery, whose roots go back to the 13th century. They combine tradition with modern comfort and create a personalised atmosphere.
The tranquillity of the monastery promotes concentration and relaxation. Our dedicated team will ensure that your stay is as pleasant as possible. Visitors report that they find inner peace and new strength here.
We warmly invite you to experience the beauty of our monastery. Enjoy nature in the Founder's Garden or the Creation Garden, take part in the daily liturgy and church services and be inspired by the abbey exhibition and concerts. The catering in the abbey cellar also caters for your physical well-being, because body and soul belong together.
Welcome to Schlägl Abbey - a place of peace, inspiration and beauty.
