Transparent fibre fleece
Workshop with Ingeborg Mayr-Edelmayer

Using a simple and interesting method, we will create delicate, transparent surfaces from cotton, hemp, flax, sisal and ramie fibres and experiment with different structures.
Each fibre fleece becomes an exciting unique piece that can later be used as a room element or light object, for example.
In addition to the plant fibres, we will also unwind threads from silk cocoons - a calm and meditative work that allows us to discover, marvel at and further process the fine threads of silk.
