This course is all about multicoloured knitting techniques.

The focus here is on techniques such as brioche, Norwegian patterns or lifting stitches. However, colour blocking, intarsia or marling can also be used to create interesting accents and special material combinations. In the course, we will also explore how to design your own patterns or individualise projects according to your own ideas. We will knit samples and experiments and learn different techniques for colourful knitting projects!

1991 born, 2019 Master Textile Design, HAW Hamburg, lives and works in Hamburg as a freelance textile and knitting designer and lecturer. The focus of her work is on colourful motifs and environmentally friendly materials - in search of a modern, abstract interpretation of the traditional craft of knitting.
