Zarzo - a weaving technique with willows
Workshop with Nicole Kudla

Zarzo is a weaving technique from Asturias (north-west Spain).
It is based on four strong branches that are tied together in the centre and at the ends. The decorative bows on the side are characteristic. Bowls, round or rectangular baskets are created in a very simple way. The various colour nuances of the willow give the woven objects a special touch.
