Reflection days for men
Resistance and surrender
Guidance from the Book of Job
The term "bad news" stands for events and experiences that befall us, for strokes of fate to which we are helplessly exposed, not least for the radical question to God's justice: "Why me? I don't deserve this!"
Ijob is not only the obedient and patient believer, he is also a rebel: against himself, against social and religious conventions, and also against God. Studying the book of Job should help us to better understand and accept the dark sides of our lives in the context of the Christian faith. Lectures and impulses, times of silence, participation in choral prayer, common prayer times and Eucharistic celebrations, opportunity for discussion and confession.
