The circular trail around the Tanzboden and the Heilig Wasser Chapel offers wonderful views over the Mühlviertel region to the Alps.
0 km Start at the market square in Haslach, cross the main road (car park) and then turn right, slightly uphill to Hochgärten.

4.8 km ...  Holy Water Chapel. The first chapel was built around 1250 and the present one has its origins around 1470. Next to the chapel is a spring, of which the following legend is told. Many years ago, when people were walking from Haslach to Mutterberg in Bohemia, they passed a certain place where they heard voices and heard singing, but could not see anyone. As soon as they had passed, the voices and singing fell silent. The Leitenmüller had a chapel built on this spot. Since then, the mysterious voices have fallen silent.
The chapel was restored by Belgian and French prisoners of war out of gratitude for having survived their captivity in good health. Next to the chapel, a well casing was built from rough, unhewn stones, which is supplied with water from the spring that lies above the well.
