Nordisches Zentrum Böhmerwald – unique in Upper Austria – is the ideal place for strengthening the body with cross-country skiing and for caressing your soul. On a high plateau, with a base elevation of 1,000 m above sea level, embedded in a stunning scenic backdrop, the resort presents the starting point for some of the most beautiful high forest runs (starting points in Ulrichsberg/Schöneben, Aigen/Grünwald, Schlägl/Oberhaag). As well as snow conditions, which are ideal in Nordisches Zentrum Böhmerwald, the heart of any positive ski experience rests with the trail system. The system has more than 70 kilometers of trails groomed for both skate and classic skiing, cut wide enough for 2 diagonal skiers. The track system features beginner, intermediate and advanced trails along gentle, rolling and hilly terrain.
