Starting in the centre of Schwarzenberg you take the street that leads uphill to the skilift at Schwarzenberg. After 1.8 km you turn right into the route R27 (Böhmerwaldradweg) that passes the skilift station „Zwieselberg“ and leads to the youth hostel „Ereignishaus Holzschlag“ at which point you turn left towards the border crossing 1/10. Follow the forest road past the picture „Liseibild“ (which depicts the tragic legend of a forester’s girl) till you reach the Hufberg mountain. The forest road descends steeply past the devil’s bowls stone formation „Teufelsschüsseln“ and then on to Oberschwarzenberg and Schwarzenberg.
