SCHOOL OF NATURE APPRECIATION

The school of nature appreciation „Böhmewaldschule" is situated on the property of the Schlägl monastery in Sonnenwald near Ulrichsberg. The adapted forester’s house is the „wood-pupils’" headquaters and gives the opportunity for wood-lessons even in bad weather.

Well-trained wood-experts guide children (it is particularly interesting for children between 8-12, but everyone else, even adults are very welcome) through the woodlands of the Bohemian Forest explaining the main points of interest. The aim of this institution is to build up a relationsship with nature that can be explored with all of one’s senses.
