POND HABITATS, Peilstein

At the beginning of the  1990s some inhabitants of Peilstein who were very aware of nature startet building up these pond habitats. Soon beetles, frogs, toads and newts as well as discoverd them as excellent living space. This project could succeed because of the intact natural surrounding area.

The following hiking trails lead to the pond habitats

Vogelstimmenweg

This theme walk features 6 stoping points, where you can listen to the singing of the birds and passes by places of interest like the ravine „Sausende Schlucht". Starting point: at the guesthouse „Hubertushof"

 
Hochbühelweg

This is a splendid walk with the opportunity to enjoy wonderful views of the Kleine Mühl valley.

Hochwaldweg
