Treadwells gallery - theatre - collection
In January, 2005, Nicholas Treadwell moved his Collection and Gallery to the impressive Courthouse and Prison Buildings in the delightful Mühlviertel village of Aigen, just a few Kilometres from the Czeck and German borders and directly adjoining the Bohemian Woods.

Aigen is next door to Schlägl, with it`s Monastry and famous Beer, 15 kms from Hochficht, Upper Austria`s excellent Ski Slope, 7 kms from the Jazz Village of Ulrichsberg and only an hour from the historic cities of Passau (Germany), Krumau (Czeck Republic) and Linz(Austria). Aigen is served extremely well with a wide variety of Hotels and Pensions and is an excellent base to explore some of Europe`s most fascinating cities. Prague, Munich and Vienna are only 3 hours away, and Budapest 4 hours.
The Courthouse and Prison, having their association with Society`s values of Right and Wrong or Good and Evil are particularly appropriate to house Treadwells Unique Collection of Humanist Art.
