Mühlviertler Oil Mill in Haslach

Linseed oil is a speciality of the region "mühlviertel".

The mill has existed and been producing linseed oil for over 600 years. For more than 200 years it has been in the possession of family Koblmiller. It is a museum with a display of former oil production equipment. Guided tours are possible but only by prior arrangement. It is a unique experience in an idyllic location rich in tradition, where deliciously flavoured oil trickles out of the press. Love of nature, the knowledge of healthy nutrition and the careful passing on of the know-how from generation to generation explains the high quality of the linseed oil – taste and enjoy it.
