Therefore there are some museums of local history, rich in detail. There is certainly a great opportunity to enjoy a wide choice of cultural features  in our holiday region. You will appreciate the environment and the scenery’s stunning beauty in the school for appreciation of nature (Böhmerwaldschule) as well as in the Garden of Healing Herbs (Heilkräutergarten). There are many  impressive buildings in the area and many opportunities to admire local crafts.

The landscape in itself provides an abundance of lovely and fascinating locations ranging from wildy romantic places to bizarre granite formations. Lake Plechý, the stone scenery „Steinernes Meer“ and the famous Schwarzenberg Wood-Float-Channel are special aspects of the region.
