Kollerschlag, located on the edge of the Bohemian Forest, offers a wide range of sports and activities for all levels and abilities. Cross country skiers find a truly unique network of Nordic tracks leading right across the picturesque winter wonderland. Ski enthusiasts meet at the nearby Hochficht ski area, only 20 km from Kollerschlag. |

Grenzbachrunde 11 km ~ 3 hours
This beautiful gentle hike leads along the border to Germany. Starting point: centre of Kollerschlag, trail-nr. 12
Stoanaweg 13 km ~ 4.5 hours; longer alternative 17 km ~ 7 hours
Highlights of the walk are many remarkable granite rock formations such as „Hochstein“, „Drucker-Franzl-Stein“, „Pfaffenhaus“, „Kühstein“, „Bründlstein“ and „Hüllstein“. The longer alternative to this trail takes a detour to „Hochstein“. Starting point: centre of Kollerschlag (Stein = stone), trail-nr. 11 and 11a
Hanriederweg 15 km ~ 4.5 hours
This trail is dedicated to Norbert Hanrieder who was a famous dialect poet of the Mühlviertel. A highlight of the trail is the look-out at Ameisberg hill from where you can overlook the entire region as far as the Bohemian Forest. Starting point: centre of Kollerschlag, trail-nr. 13
