International WEAVER-MARKET in HASLACH...

19.-20. Juli 2008

Some 85 exhibitors from all over Europe offer high-quality textiles within the weavers' market, held at Haslach´s historic village area of Stelzen. The versatile range includes a variety of contemporary linen and felt designs as well as traditional weavings, related accessories, and more ........

During the last years weaving became a viable art form. Previously functional techniques found more artistic avenues to express ideas. But a continuity of weaving techniques can be found from the earlier historical pieces to the most contemporary weaving.
